Another Birthday

This time's for D...and he's now a teenager!

I now have 2 teens.

HELP.

Really, I am very blessed...they are pretty good kids all around. Sure, we've had a few bobbles going through this last year as we all navigate the new waters, but it could be worse. And they are good.

D picked chinese, so we made a version of sesame chicken (yea, without the sesame.lol) and a lemon cake with (real) buttercream frosting. Yes, I whipped egg whites, made a sugar sryup and folded in the butter...Man, the things I do for these kids. : ) YUM. Little H loved it, as she doesn't like overly sweet things and requested it for her birthday. It was a bit of a PITA, but it's only once (or twice) a year, right?:)
